Scholarships
The Any paid member of Hudson-Mohawk Weavers’ Guild, having been an active member for at least one year, is eligible to apply for scholarship funding. Funds are to be used to enhance the weaver’s education in weaving or fiber related subject matter and may be applied to course fees and/or related expenses.
Each recipient is expected to make a return to the Guild, in a method of her/his own devising, through demonstration, lecture, workshop or other service to the HMWG (to be determined at time of application) within twelve (12) months of receiving funds.
Application must be made at least sixty (60) days prior to the event.
Scholarships are awarded following a review by the Scholarship Committee. They will respond within thirty (30) days prior to the event.
Scholarship funds not used for the planned course/event must be returned to the Fund.
