Buy handmade this holiday season! The Hudson-Mohawk Weavers’ Guild is pleased to invite the general public to its 41st Annual Show & Sale. This yearly event returns to the Pruyn House in Colonie, starting Thursday, November 21 and running through Sunday, November 24. Free admission!

For four days each November, the Guild takes over the historic Pruyn House and turns it into a showcase for the best of modern handweaving, from traditional to contemporary. Guild members work all year to produce a tremendous variety of handwoven items, from rugs to hand towels and other home goods to clothing pieces such as scarves, shawls and jackets. Holiday gifts such as cards, ornaments and decor are also available. Each room in the Pruyn House is devoted to a particular class of items such as linens or scarves and staffed with an accomplished local weaver to assist and answer questions. Admission is free, and visitors can watch fashion shows featuring woven goods or take in demonstrations of handweaving and spinning. The 2019 Show & Sale is expected to feature over 2500 individual items for sale. Items will be available at all price points.
