To celebrate the start of Asian American Pacific slander Heritage Month, Guild member Kaori Otera Chen is once again co-hosting Magical Indigo Dye Day at the New York State Writer’s Institute at SUNY Albany at 1:00 PM, Sunday, April 30 (rain date Monday, May 1) at the Multi-Purpose Room, Campus West Addition. This free session features noted textile artist Darius Homayounpour. A free cotton fabric will be provided to all workshop participants. Kaori welcomes Guild participants to the workshop. She wasn’t sure whether she needed any volunteers. If you wear your Guild nametag, she will know that she can call on you for help as needed.
