February Guild Meeting - Zoom only

We will meet by Zoom only in February. Check the newsletter for the Zoom link. Guests are welcome, but we request a small donation to attend this lecture. Send a message via our contact form to obtain the Zoom link. We return to in-person meetings in March.

Social time 7-7:30

Practical demonstration by Barb Decker at 7:15. Who doesn't love a scarf? But sometimes, I think that scarfs don't love me. Don't get me wrong, I can do a basic wrap with a scarf and can even keep myself warm with one. But have you ever wanted to get that special look with your scarf? Barb Decker has offered to show us some of her tricks and techniques for scarfs during our practical time. So have a scarf at the ready and enjoy a few minutes of magic with Barb. (We will leave the break out rooms at 7:15 to enjoy Barb's presentation.)

Program: Daryl Lancaster presents Leftovers Again? What to do with handwoven leftover fabric. Daryl Lancaster is so well known in the weaving world, that an introduction isn't needed. She will join us by Zoom for the February meeting and answer that age-old question - what to do with leftover hand-woven fabric! Daryl will provide ideas and inspiration for creative ways to use every precious bit of hand-woven scrap. Techniques are varied from a glue gun to sewing. Learn how to use fusibles and stabilizers to create everything from a garment or to a card.
