Future of Guild discussion time 7-7:30. Please arrive promptly if you want to take part.

Program starts at 7:30. Two presentations:

• Tomi Bentley received a Guild scholarship to attend Tom Jipson's class on Color Interaction and Design in Fall 2019 at Harrisville. She will share with us her samples and helpful hints she received on color value that made color selection very easy and fun!

• We have all oohed over the detailed, and often emotional,pictorial weavings by Gary Avanzato. Our second presentation will provide technical information about the creation process. Gary will provide a demonstration of how to take a digital image and convert it to an executable file for weaving on a jacquard loom using Photoshop and Pointcarre (a textile CAD software program).

Logistical notes:

• We will meet downstairs. It is Maundy Thursday and the congregation has Holy Week activities at the time of our meeting. Park in the same lot as usual, across the street from the church. Go in the same door, and follow the signs.

• Remember your name tag! If you are a new member, a name tag will be available for you.

• 7-7:30 will be for small focus groups about future directions for the guild based on the ideas shared in March zoom breakout groups. The program will start at 7:30 as usual.

• Per the policies of our host church, the meeting will be masks optional. Beverages will be available, and you are welcome to bring goodies to share.
