Social time from 7-7:30. We will meeting in small breakout groups which will get mixed up every ~10 minutes.
Program starts at 7:30. Does weaving sometimes leave you a little sore and achy? Then our March program is perfect for you! Don your comfy clothes and be ready to move during this program by Dr. Heather Tremblay-Croteau, PT, DPT, CSCS. Heather received her Bachelor’s in Creative Arts in Therapy with a concentration in Music from Russell Sage College in 2008. She then continued on at Sage Graduate School to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2011. In early 2012 Heather became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. She specializes in treatment of sports injuries and has recently been trained in treatment of prenatal/postpartum women. Heather’s personal and continuing educational experiences have enhanced her ability to evaluate and treat the whole person. She works to design a program specifically developed for each patient including a combination of both highly skilled manual therapy techniques and specific guided exercise instruction. During this presentation Heather will review common injuries acquired during repetitive movement activities such as knitting, weaving, etc. She will discuss, demonstrate and instruct various techniques for stretching, moving, positioning and strengthening to mitigate these issues. There will be time at the end of the presentation for some questions.
